So sorry I've been AWOL for a while... truth is, I've fallen hopelessly in love! It sounds crazy but I already know I've found 'the one'. As most of you know, my love life thus far has been a bit of a mess! Other than my first love back when I was 18, I've had a constant string of awful guys with intimacy issues, relationship issues, drug issues and the like. But as soon as I met Andrew, even after date one, I knew it was different. I've been scared of relationships before and preferred to casually date but being with him doesn't scare me at all - in fact, I'm excited for our future together. I've never felt this way about anyone. You can all go ahead and cringe but I love him with all my heart and I've never been more sure of anything in all my life! I've spent the past two weeks holed in in his apartment enjoying every moment I have with him, so I've been a bit shit on the blogging front... I pledge to make much more of an effort from now on though!
This outfit photo is a few months old as I haven't taken any others recently, but I'll be taking more snaps tomorrow at my boyfriend's gig in Hoxton Sqaure, so expect a better outfit post soon! Just thought you guys deserved
!!! I'm wearing a vintage tie blouse and high waisted Levis - one of those default outfits I keep going back to when I can't be bothered to think of anything else to wear. I can wear it alone in summer or cover up in winter with black tights, creepers, and a thick mohair cardigan or leather jacket. Easy!
Although a little later than promised (SORRY), sometime this week I'm going to be launching a

It was my little sister's 12th birthday today which was so much fun. We played silly games, watched old kids TV shows until we were crying with laughter (Button Moon FOR THE WIN), and got a little too aggressive over Mario Party on the Wii... At one stage my brother and I were almost brawling on the floor! It's always nice to go home and spend time with family, let loose and be a bit silly. I'm super close to them all to the point where it actually scares people, so I really miss them when I'm back in London.
Yesterday my friend Lauren came over to do lots of yummy baking, and this is what I wore: leather leggings, a vintage silk striped blouse and gold cross necklace. Wanted to keep it simple and sensible... well, as simple and sensible as it gets for me! We made the most delicious cakes and cookies and ate SO much. Start of next month, I need to start working out again,
big time!

TRASH†, my online vintage shop, is slowly but surely coming together, I can once again make time for outfit photos and blog posts! YAY! Here's a little outfit to start you off: I'm wearing all vintage and the 80s floral lycra leggings are actually available to buy in my shop, but I just couldn't resist trying them on! I love them so much. The denim shirt I made myself and was once a denim dress until I cut and frayed it, studded the collar, attached little gold spikes and sewed a massive leopard print fabric cross onto the back. Definitely want to make more.
TRASH† still isn't 100% finished and I still have a few tops and dresses to add, and a few minor tweaks to make, but promotion etc is going ahead on Friday once it's all done! Plus, make sure you check back here tomorrow or Thursday for a special giveaway! I'd love to know what you guys think of the shop so far, so please get in touch with your opinions. Bad news and good news... let's start with the bad.
I've been working SO hard on my new online vintage shop (see post below) so it could open today - but at the last minute technical issues got in the way! I'm gutted. DEVASTATED. It's going to take a while to sort as it's a pretty straightforward problem but a loooonnnngggg, boring process to fix it. Therefore, the new open date is now
SUNDAY 7TH JANUARY so please make sure you check back then! The shop will definitely be opening no matter what.
The good news is that I finally have a long overdue outfit post for you all. YAY.
Simple and comfy on Christmas Eve: wearing a burnt orange pleated forever21 skirt with a vintage Guns 'n Roses band tee which I cut at the shoulders, and topped off with dark purple lipstick. I actually had one of the best Christmases AND New Years ever - everything was perfect - which makes me think 2012 is destined to be pretty good for me. Let's hope so. I've already made my new years resolutions...

SNEAK PEAK... posted at 9:20 PM
...A little sneak peak at what's to come from my online vintage shop, opening in the next few weeks! I'm so excited that it's all finally coming together. A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who helped me out, including my two stunning models in this photo, Sophie and Gabi.
There's not much else to report right now as I've been bedbound for a week, the sickest I've ever been. I'm hoping to be up and about tomorrow (fingers crossed) and an outfit post will follow shortly.
