London Rose [luhn-duhn rohz] NOUN. The opposite of an English Rose and the epitome of edgy London style. A fan of vintage, music, Camden, tattoos, and charity shop chic. Their uniform includes wavy bedhead hair, snow white skin, big black lashes and blood red lips. Wild and carefree. This is what the English Rose’s nightmares are made of…

NEW PURCHASES and GOLD BY GILES posted at 7:25 PM

Ok, so today's post is going to be veryyy long! I have a LOT to talk to you about! It's definitley not my standard outfit post, but I promise the next post I do will be an outfit! I just have a lot to share today - it's going to be a bit of a mixture of different things... Firstly I wanted to show you my new purchases! I've never done this before but might do this again in the future.

As you all know, I recently filmed an episode for New Look TV along with the gorgeous Sherin from Hi Fashion - it'll be up on youtube on Friday so make sure you watch! To say thanks, a gift card arrived from the lovely team at New Look TV in the post a few days ago, and I immediately logged onto newlook.co.uk to spend it! It was so hard to choose what to buy as their stock at the moment is the best they've had in ages, and there was soooo much to choose from! But I wanted a statement making going out dress, so finally decided on this limited edition assymetric one shoulder dress. It's a gorgeous textured leather-look bodycon dress with lots of studs - and it was love at first sight! I can't wait til it arrives in the post so I can style it up and photograph it for you :)

My next new purchase is this stunning sequinned oversized, slouchy clutch bag from Primark! I know a lot of you might frown on Primark, but it's unbeatable for incredibly cheap on-trend accessories. This baby only cost me £5! I can use it to glam up a simple dress on a night out, or contrast it with a super casual outfit for daytime. It's hard to explain what I mean but I'll photograph it soon with a daytime outfit to show you!

Another new bag, and another Primark find! At just £6 I couldn't resist! I've seen MK Olsen with a really similar bag and remember thinking what an interesting shape it was, so got really excited when I found this one! It's basically a little round sack with a long shoulder strap, and the studs just make it even better :)

Ok, so you might be a little confused about these trainers after looking at my other new buys... These are a VERY different style. But I hate limiting myself to one specific style after all! These were an impulse Ebay buy and I'm so glad I got them - I may only wear them once or twice but they're definitley statement making! They're so retro 80s and I have a few ideas of what I could wear them with - some outfits more extreme than others - so keep your eyes peeled!

So now onto a different topic (I warned you this would be a long post!)

I recently received an email from the lovely Helen at New Look about the new 'Gold' collection by Giles Deacon which launches this month. I also got an email from Anette Lennerup, the designer of label Urban Buzz, about their brand new online shop. I get a lot of emails from companies about their new collections and these two I LOVED, so I had to share a few of my favourite pieces with you! Starting with Gold by Giles...

Giles’ 9th collection is based around the louche London vibe that is around at the moment – modern British glamour at it’s finest. Dresses are the key purchase of the season, beautifully structured and encrusted with beads and sequins. The glamour continues with intricate beaded tops, slouchy sequin vests and tunics with panels of sparkle. Leopard print is updated in flashes of black, lipstick and sand. Gold by Giles also features amazing accessories including strappy heels with jewelled fronts, sequin shoe-boots (my personal favourite of the entire collection), sequinned peep toes and faux snakeskin gladiator cage heels. Jewellery has an art deco edge in rectangles of black and clear carrying through necklaces, cuffs and earrings.

Now onto Urban Buzz! For those who haven't heard of it, Urban Buzz is a London based ethical designer label. Their collections offer clean line designs using mostly organic and ethical materials with fun and quirky details - make sure you visit their brand new online shop at urban-buzz.com, the pieces are so versatile and could be styled in lots of different ways. There'll be lots more about this label on the blog soon as I'm attending their catwalk show on the 27th :)

WOW - longgg post! Thanks so much to everyone who managed to read it all! New outfit posts coming very soon. AND make sure you enter the £50 ASOS giveaway a few posts down! Love you all ♥
