AND THE WINNER IS... posted at 12:15 AM

Thanks for all your amazing entries, but the winner of the £50 ASOS vouchers is...

HAYLEY FROM FASHION DUCK

...congrats! If you send your address to sugar.gloss@googlemail.com I'll get your prize to you.

This was her winning entry - her top tips for a budding fashionista:

1. Wear whatever you like, if you think it looks great wear it. And have the confidence to know you look great - even if people wouldn't ordinarily like the outfit your confidence will change their minds. Confidence is the best accessory to any outfit.
2. Ignore the stares. Ignore the idiots who beep at you in their cars when you walk down the street (I live near a big builder's yard - I get this a lot!) If it's what you like who cares what everyone else thinks? It's better to stand out and be noticed and remembered than to blend into the background.
3. If your friends slate what you're wearing - ignore them! So many times my friends have looked at me and said "what are you wearing?" Give it 6 months or so and Topshop pulls out a very similar item and suddenly everyone's wearing it and has forgotten how they hated it on you. Be a trend setter not a sheep.
4. Make your items unique. You don't have to go to a vintage boutique or charity shop to find a great one-off item (although these are goldmines). Change the buttons on a jacket you've bought, change the hemline on a dress or skirt, dye the top you like which isn't quite the right colour, write slogans across a plain top. Make it about you. Shops cater for a group of people - not an individual.
5. Keep your body shape in mind but don't let it dictate what you wear! I know so many girls who break these "rules" which say big girls can't wear this or short girls look awful in this but do you know what - they always look great. You know what ignore these fashion "rules". There's no fashion police who will come to arrest you if you wear a low cut top and a mini skirt or if you wear navy with black (I never understood that one personally).
6. Inspiration is everywhere. Always look around, open your eyes to see what is around you, I was inspired by a building once!
7. Finally, fashion should be an extension of your personality, it should look effortless - even if you're dressed to the nines! It should look like you could get dressed in 5 minutes - just grab something from your wardrobe. Learn from what didn't look so great and build on it - if it doesn't look right on you, why is that? Too many accessories? Or too few? Colours don't work? Enjoy it and feel comfortable, then the confidence will follow and you won't care what anyone else says. Confidence, a swagger and a smile go a long way. Even if you feel insecure - don't let anyone see it.

Another giveaway will be coming v soon! Plus an incredible contest, where 5 of you can win a VIP day out at a fashion event with me! ♥
